“There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the earth.”  –Rumi

My name is *cory* and I have always loved anything authentic, spiritual, mystical, and magical and have noticed the magic that surrounds me yet I am well-grounded.  I have been in trained in The Reconnection/Reconnective Healing by Dr. Eric Pearl.  I also have taken Reiki 1 and 2, read tarot cards, meditate, chant, and believe we need to honor our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual connection.  I enjoy yoga and kundalini yoga, knitting, crocheting, gardening, and calligraphy and am learning French (very slowly!).  I am married and a stay-at-home mom to my son and daughter and have my master’s degree in speech-language pathology and my B.A. in Spanish.  I am also a Soul Coach and Past Life Coach, having completed Denise Linn’s Certification Course in Professional Soul Coaching®, Advanced Soul Coaching®, and Past Life Regression.

You can read about the birth of “the lotus seed journals” here–it started out when I was a little girl and had that irritation–like the grain of sand in the oyster that would later become a pearl–that irritation of “I have to write this inspirational or interesting quote/saying/thought down *right* now” and the inner turmoil if I didn’t get it written down right away–inner turmoil that was only released once the words/thoughts were put in ink onto any piece of paper/envelope/napkin I could find.

Namaste and many many blessings to you***

    Hi Cory,

Thank you for visiting my site and then reblogging – what an honor! You are really kind. I see that we have a lot in common here! This is an interesting rosary – what do you do with it? Do you use it for chanting? Interestingly, I have also be attunded to level II Reiki. I will be stopping by here pretty often to read your thoughts on the various topics you have listed above. Best wishes in everything you do.

Hi, I loved your experiment. It reminded me of one done I think in the 70’s ? and I can’t remember exactly what they did but it was something about how they took a chain saw to a plant and the other plants somehow reacted –I’m sorry I can’t remember exactly what it was, but it lead them to believe that plants have a type of consciousness and I’m sure the intention of the person was to destroy that plant in the experiment. I assume you saw the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know” which talks about Masaru Emoto’s findings. So interesting and I think something we emotional:) human beings need to keep in mind every day so that we can be conscious and responsible of our thoughts, energy, words, and intentions in each moment.
I made that 108 sandalwood prayer bead/mala/rosary. I do use it for chanting. I know it sounds silly, but there is something very magical, mystical, and very potent and potentially life-changing that is integral to chanting. I write about it in the March 2011 archives and list some chants and places to find chants if you are interested. I would suggest just try it for 40 days. I am trying to hold back 🙂 because I know each person has their own process and soul’s path, but it’s free and only for 40 days (unless you forget a day and then you start over, yes, even if you are on day 39) and for just a few minutes out loud (you may want some privacy at the beginning or just embrace the raised eyebrows Lol)
Yay!–another Reiki 2 person! I love Reiki (1 & 2). I use it many evenings on my kids after I’ve read with them. I call it energy work. They usually request it. It makes a smooth transition into sleeping and if there were upsets and kerfluffles during the day, the energy work makes everything somehow okay. I also do Reiki on my friends and family, but mostly on myself to get to sleep and on my kids.
Namaste and many blessings to you!***
